Meal Plan October Week 3 (Behind the Scenes!)


Yes, I am still busy over here meal planning! I haven’t shared lately because by the time I get my meals laid out, groceries ordered and picked up and back home, I’m wiped. And let’s be honest, too. Infant twins are a lot to handle. I wouldn’t trade them for the world, but there are many times where… I just don’t have time. So, instead of typing out the list, I thought it would be fun to share it as I write it (and see it) all week long.

At the end of most lines, there’s an abbreviation and number in parenthesis. Those are noted so I know which cookbook the recipe is from and what page it’s on to quickly locate it. I’ve been trying to cook all breakfasts from the same cookbook, all the lunches from the same cookbook and dinners from Pinterest pins. (You can see a link on the right there if you want to follow me to see what delicious recipes I’ve found!)  At the top of the list, there’s a category for “extras” and those are the meals I have planned to prep and/or make for the freezer. I don’t always get those all done, but I’ll carry over to the next week if not. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to have freezer breakfasts (especially) ready for mornings where I haven’t slept well (see: twins, above) or am just dragging. Man, I love my freezer breakfasts!
